A n n e t t e   v a n   T o n g e r e n Although Annette went to art school in 1987 and found it interesting, she decided to switch to museology and graduated in 1995. After having worked for museums, she moved to singapore in 1996. Always looking for ways to use her creativity, she became inspired by goldsmiths in Sri Lanka during her first visit in 1997. Back home in Singapore she started to design jewellery, which is then hand-made by goldsmiths in Sri Lanka. She returned to Amsterdam in 1998 and now runs her own exclusive jewellery business.
